- Medical Assistant Trade: Passed 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with min. 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. Or completed 2-year vocational course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English with same min. marks.

- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) :
- For candidates up to 21 Years: 1.6 Km run within 7 minutes.
- For candidates above 21 years (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy): 1.6 Km run within 7 minutes 30 Seconds.
- Height : Minimum 152.5 cms
- Chest : Well proportioned with minimum expansion of 5 cms.
- Hearing : Normal hearing (hear forced whisper at 6 meters with each ear separately).
- Weight : Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
- Dental : Healthy gums, good set of teeth, minimum 14 dental points.
- Visual Standards : 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye; Refractive Error Not exceeding + 3.50D including Astigmatism.
