Big news for engineering diploma and degree holders! The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), under the Ministry of Railways, have released the indicative short notice for CEN 04/2026 to recruit Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. As per this short notice, approximately 4098 vacancies (across all RRBs) are expected in Pay Level 6 with an initial pay of ₹35,400. This is one of the most awaited Railway recruitment notifications of the year.

Selection Details: The recruitment is usually held through First Stage CBT and Second Stage CBT, testing subjects like Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and technical/discipline-specific topics. Candidates shortlisted after the CBT stages go through Document Verification and a Medical Examination as per Railway standards.
